Can a person be saved by living holy life? No! No one can live holy life… Our holy lives aren’t good enough to be considered holy. That’s why Christ died for us. (Isaiah 64:6, Romans 5:8)


How then can a person be saved? It is by confessing Jesus as his Lord and saviour and by believing in his heart that he is saved. (Romans 10:9)


Does that mean a believer can go on sinning? No! A believer does not sin. (1 John 3:9, 1 John 5:18)


What if a believer sin? If a believer sin, we have an advocate in heaven who intercedes on our behalf. (1 John 2:1)


Won’t this teaching cause people to sin? It cannot. In fact, it is this teaching that actually makes a believer live above devil’s deceit. It makes us come to the throne of Grace with boldness that we may obtain mercy. (Titus 2:12, Hebrew 4:16)


What if a Christian die in sin? A believer cannot die in sin because he is dead to sin. Jesus finished it on the cross and sealed the deal with His blood. (Romans 6:2, Act 17:11)


But some people are preaching something different sir… Well, let every man be a liar but let God’s word be true. (Romans 3:4)
