On our way from Lagos to Onitsha, we experienced so many hurdles on the way and the rain also limited our access into several places. There was also serious traffic jams which made a seven hour journey become eleven hours. We arrived Onitsha around 11 O’Clock in the night and we couldn’t get any further into our homes and we had no option but to stay in the park, get beaten by the cold and stay till morning before we could locate our homes.

Someone said to me “Grace could have made you to do the journey in 45minutes.” Perhaps it was a joke but something happened at an instance… I learnt something from it! God may allow us to pass through several hurdles of life but we have an amazing promise in Isaiah 43:2 that we shall pass through the fire and it will by no means hurt us! And I responded to him “Grace made me arrive safely”.

We must learn to always see God’s goodness in everything! Sometimes we come to that point where people question our faith or what we believe because something challenging happened to us but we should confront those questionings with God’s promises! The Psalmist didn’t deny he would walk in the valleys of the shadows of death but he has no fear of death because he is sure of God’s presence… He is sure that God is with him! Therefore, the consciousness of God’s promises guides him! (Psalm 23:4)

Sometimes we make plans and it fail! That doesn’t mean God has failed us! It is our own plans that failed. God’s plans cannot fail us because His plans are for good and never of evil! We shouldn’t blame God or hate God when something uncomfortable happens to us, we should rather remind ourselves of God’s love, care and presence! By reminding ourselves of that, we are building a strong protection from the devil’s deceit! The devil wants you to think that God has failed you! He wants you to think that God is not faithful! When you think that way your trust for God diminishes and you will not be able to receive from Him anymore because you have doubts! The Bible says

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord , “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jer 29:11 NIV

You see that? It is never God’s plan to harm you! So any harm you experience is not a part of God’s plans. It is rather His plan to save you from harm! God plans that you prosper, have hope and a future!

Truth is, God isn’t hesitating to give you all those good things! He has already supplied all your needs, you only need to believe and keep believing! You will gradually see those things come to manifestation. God can never ever hurt you! There is no hurt in your life endorsed by God! He rather saves you from them! I am so convinced that God loves me beyond measure, not just because I read them in the Bible but because I have seen it come into play in my life.

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” – Romans 8:38‭-‬39 NIV

God loves you!

I believe this blesses your life!
