SALVATION… Living as saved!

“For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” – Romans 10:10

:

How are we justified? It is by believing!

How are we saved? It is by confessing what we believe!

:

What do we believe?

“Yes, God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him would not be lost but have eternal life.” – Jn. 3:16 ERV

:

We are not saved by works but by faith in God’s grace… The gospel is clear on that! Then, faith that produces no result isn’t faith in the first place! Faith produces results! If you are saved, then live like the saved! Trying to suggest that we can’t do good works because we have flesh means you don’t have faith in the power of God in you! We have flesh but we subject it to the leading of the Spirit! You’re the one who consciously start producing results! The result you’re producing showcases that God is at work in you! The Bible says

:

“My dear friends, you always obeyed what you were taught. Just as you obeyed when I was with you, it is even more important for you to obey now that I am not there. So you must continue to live in a way that gives meaning to your salvation. Do this with fear and respect for God. Yes, it is God who is working in you. He helps you want to do what pleases him, and he gives you the power to do it.” – Php. 2:12‭-‬13 ERV

:

The Easy to Read Version is my favourite as regards to this verse! You can’t say you’re saved when you’re not living like a saved man! No one will believe you at all! It’s like a slave who gained freedom but continues to live like a slave! No one will believe he isn’t a slave anymore.

:

Since I have been saved from sin and I believed it, I have to live my life as one who is saved from sin! Religion makes mess of it, religion wants you to think that anything that puts smile on your face is sin! You don’t dance, you don’t make merry and you should be mean at all times! That is the idea they propel. However, Jesus said something different, he showed a way with which we can truly expose His nature of Holiness for the world to see! It’s not about hell, it’s about living your Christian life fulfilled! Jesus said “you must be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect”. Now, we have received a perfect Spirit the moment we came to Jesus Christ but we must act like who we are, we must act in accordance with the life we have received hence, our salvation is questionable. It is not about murdering our joy! Jesus didn’t come to kill our joy, He came to give us life in abundance! When we live in genuine love for God and for people regardless of who they are and where they’re from, you’re living our the righteousness that has been established in you!

:

God’s reason for making the new creation is so that we can live that wonderful and inspiring life He has planned for us from the beginning! Remember, He made man in His image! This means, we are meant to live great lives. The Bible says

:

“God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us new people so that we would spend our lives doing the good things he had already planned for us to do.” – Eph. 2:10 ERV

:

Glory to Jesus! I am born again, I am a new creature and I am empowered to live a great lives! The Bible says

:

“That is the way we should live, because God’s grace has come. That grace can save everyone. It teaches us not to live against God and not to do the bad things the world wants to do. It teaches us to live on earth now in a wise and right way—a way that shows true devotion to God.” – Titus 2:11‭-‬12 ERV

:

You see that? Anyone can get saved by God’s grace! Anyone who gets saved is meant to live a good life because it is an empowerment to do so! And we live this life by trusting God absolutely and walking with Him.

God bless you!
