Jesus is man’s way to God. Jesus is God’s way to man. Jesus is the revelation of God and Jesus is the revelation of the perfect man. In Zechariah 2:10, God declared “Shout and be glad, Daughter Zion. For I am coming, and I will live among you,” How was that going to happen? How could God in all His mightiness live among men? He achieved that by coming as Jesus! We need no argument to agree that Jesus is God, at least only a very insignificant few who also claim to be Christians argue that Jesus is not God but a little less than God! The Bible says in John 1:1, 14 “in the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God… The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” Do you see that? The word that was and remains God made his dwelling place among us just as God declared!
Concerning Jesus becoming man, the Bible says “And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death– even death on a cross!” – Philippians 2:8
To us, Jesus is God and to God Jesus is us. Jesus is the unity between man and God… By crucifying Jesus, man was being crucified and by resurrecting Jesus the perfect man was being made alive. God did not forsake Jesus, God forsook SIN. How can God reject Jesus and yet Jesus committed his Spirit into his hand? When Jesus cried in Matthew 27:46 “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” he was crying our cry as a sinner! God had to look away so that sin and its power could be defeated and destroyed
The new creation took place not at the cross but after the cross. No wonder, God who had ceased from creating declared in Isaiah 43:19
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
What does it mean to make way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland? It is like making something out of nothing! God was going to make righteous people out of sinners! On the cross, the old man was put to death and at the tomb the new man resurrected!
Jesus was not just the second Adam but the last Adam! He died as Adam but resurrected as THE SON OF GOD. In this effect, the Bible declared “The first man Adam became a living being”; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.” (1 Corinthians 15:45). By presenting himself to the Father, God was simply presenting us to himself as blameless and holy! As entirely new creatures without a past! Therefore the devil has no place to hold and accuse us! Jesus said before his ascension in John 20:17 “…I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.” Do you see that? After the resurrection of Jesus, he started referring to God as our own father not just as his father! He was not only ascending to present himself, he was ascending to present us to our father! No wonder the Bible declared in Romans 6:5 “For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we will certainly also be united with him in a resurrection like his.” Paul was talking about the manifestation of what has taken place in the Spirit for the Bible says in Ephesians 2:6 “And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus,” It didn’t say that God will raise us up, it says that God raised us up with Christ and sat us with himself in heavenly realms with Christ Jesus! I said earlier that God had a way of presenting us to himself! This is God’s way of show casing his love for man and his hate for sin… He destroyed the power of what he hates (sin) over those he love (man).
Now, we may ask again, “Who is Jesus?”
Jesus is God and Man. Jesus is what made us God and Jesus is what made God man. God became man to win man. He made man God by infusing himself into those who believe through the Holy Spirit. God declared in Joel 2:28 “I will pour out my Spirit on all people.” And he did! The Bible says “For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.” And 1 John 14:7 announced “as He is, so are we in this world”

He made man like himself so that man can relate with him. This revelation is visible in the making of the first man. When God brought animals to man (Genesis 2:19), he couldn’t relate well with them and therefore gave them diverse names. He found no suitable helper among the animals! But when God brought the wo-MAN, he saw exactly what was like him and declared (Genesis 2:23) “this is just me… The bone of my bone”. In like manner, because of sin, man couldn’t relate with God. Prophets came but none was able to bring us to that intimacy with God, they only prepared the way for the coming of Jesus! Jesus who is our savior came and in him we saw God and were made to become like God! As a result, we can boldly come to the throne of Grace and communicate with God as “father”. What relationship is more intimate than being a son of God and also bride of God at the same time?

We are the brides of God… The ceremony will take place in heaven.
What a love the father has bestowed on us… WHO BELIEVE.
God bless you!
