“Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.”
~ Jeremiah 33:3
The world gets advanced every day and it seems at some point many people are beginning to trust technology and science more and more because this is what they see with their eyes. In the days of the Apostles, the first approach towards the sick may be to quickly pray for them and trust that they would experience healing but these days the first approach is usually to call the doctor or rush to get over-the-counter drugs. It is not because these drugs would offer instant solutions but because over the years we have put our trust in developments and sometimes these developments also fail us. I was wondering why God didn’t allow them to finish the tower of Babel and I realized it was because they had put so much trust in their efforts than in God. God wants to remind you today that He hasn’t gone deaf, He is still ready to listen to you!
1. God hears when we call.
2. God responds when we call.
3. God reveals things we do not know to us.
It doesn’t matter what it is you are looking for its answer or solution, the first approach as a believer should be talking to God. We have an assurance that He hears us and beyond hearing us, He also responds to us and reveals things to us.
POINT TO NOTE
When we seem not to have a direction, know where to go and what to do in any capacity, we can call upon God. We do not call upon trying to see if He will answer, we call upon Him knowing that He will answer and that He will respond to us and reveal to us more than what we are searching for. There is no exception to what we can ask Him. He may give us a direct answer, He may speak through someone or even someone but whichever way, God will always respond to us when we call.
“Now that I know God hears me and answer me when I call, I cannot be lost! I lift my voice to Him and He speaks back to me at all times! Halleluyah!”
Precious Father, thank you for the assurance I have in your word. Thank you for reminding me that I can always call on you expecting that you will speak back to me. Thank you for reminding me that I should keep trusting you at all times. (You may use this opportunity to tell God about those situations you need answers to!)
