“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” Romans 10: 13-14
For Christianity to reach us, many people sacrificed their lives, sacrificed their comfort, sacrificed their multi-billion dollar dreams and dived into mission boats. In Africa, many Europeans gave up their comfort and dwell among the Africans in their yet to be developed Villages. They helped in stopping various evil practices which includes slave trade, killing of twins, killing of servants for burial of their masters and other evil practices. Yes, many gave up their lives that we might hear this gospel that sets free! If for hundreds of years since the advent of Christianity we have not conquered the interiors, it means we have not really do our home work very well.
Jesus asked us to GO and make disciples of ALL NATIONS! That is practical Christianity. When you are not eager to share the faith it means you have not fully being convinced, it means you are still afraid of the unknown. In respect to the mandate we have received from Jesus to Crusade against darkness and establish the kingdom of God in the heart of men we are moving into the interior where many have not heard the gospel nor experienced it. You may not be able to join the work force of the volunteers but you can sow seed, you can donate a need for the sower. You can contribute to the success of this mission by donating various items that will be distributed to helpless people.
Currently, we are moving into Igbeazu Izzi LGA of Abakaliki in Ebonyi State, Nigeria. From there, we will be expanding into other areas. We are not opening a Church, we are working with already established Churches. Many of these mission areas are places without electricity, places where the works of interpreters might be needed, places where social amenities are hardly accessible, places where education is yet scarce. The volunteers of this mission project are also giving up their works to join in this KINGDOM EXPANSION.
Is it really worth it that we relax in urban areas while people still wallow in darkness? Can we really say we are Christians when we are not ready to show the world the love of Jesus? Can we say God is love when we can’t show it? We are calling on Churches, individuals, organizations, ministries and Christian clubs to make donations and generous gifting for this interior mission. We would appreciate your gift of Bibles, Christians Materials, Clothes, Money, Food Items, Food Supplements, Ancient and Modern Hymn books (English and Igbo Versions) and lots of other valuable materials. We would wish to remind donors that every donation will be channeled to this mission project and we would expect that we give good items and not items meant for the garbage bin.
